When a complaint is received, Vedere University will:

  • Assign an appropriate investigator
  • Conduct a fair and impartial investigation
  • Provide both parties an opportunity to present information
  • Reach a determination based on preponderance of evidence
  • Communicate the outcome to relevant parties
  • Implement appropriate remedies or disciplinary action

The timeline for investigation may vary depending on the complexity of the complaint.

8. Remedies and Sanctions

If discrimination or harassment is found to have occurred, appropriate remedial action will be taken. This may include:

For students: counseling requirements, educational assignments, probation, suspension, or expulsion.

For employees: training requirements, counseling, written warning, suspension, demotion, or termination.

Additional remedies may include policy changes, training programs, or other institutional responses to address systemic issues.
